There are numerous materials available for splashbacks, whether it be glass, tiles, engineered stone or stainless steel. RM Kitchens + Bathrooms use trusted local businesses and tradespeople to supply and install our splashback materials.

Our glazier prides himself on his quality product and craftsmanship and is continually updating his product and skills to keep up with design trends, recently designing a slumped glass to look like the very on-trend subway tile.

Tiles remain our most popular splashback option, due to their versatility and the huge range of colours and designs available. Tiles are a great way to add texture to a kitchen and can be selected by yourself from any of the local tile shops with the assistance of our designers, if required. We use licensed tilers to install our tiled splashbacks.

The Trend Stone and Earth Stone 6.5mm engineered stone can be used as splashbacks, this is made and installed by a licensed stonemason. This is a great option for a streamlined look and due to it being only 6.5mm thick, it doesn’t impede on your benchtop depth. Another great bonus of using this is that there’s no need for grout.

If you have a particular material you’d like to use for your splashbacks, we will try our best to source this for you from one of our many suppliers.
